Wayne Resident Gearing Up For 18th Annual MG Walk-A-Thon
Kelley DeVincentis has helped raise more than $600,000 to help find a cure for Myasthenia Gravis, a rare autoimmune disease.

Each year, Kelley DeVincentis just keeps walking.
DeVincentis suffers from Myasthenia Gravis (MG), an autoimmune, neuromuscular disease that can cause severe muscle weakness. It affects about 70,000 Americans.
DeVincentis is gearing up for the 18th annual MG Walk-A-Thon, which will be set Saturday, May 2.

DeVincentis was diagnosed with MG when she was 16. She was unable to climb stairs, walk, speak, or smile or swallow her saliva. She was put on life support three times.
But she was determined not to let MG conquer her so she started the MG Walk-A-Thon, which has raised more than $600,000 for MG research in 17 years.
