WAYNE, N.J. — A town resident has been nominated for a prestigious state award for teaching majors in New Jersey.

Brittany Warther, a 2012 Wayne Hills alumnus, is one of 15 nominees for the state Department of Education's Distinguished Clinical Intern Award.

Warther is one of three William Paterson University students to receive the school's Outstanding Student Teacher Award this year.
