A Wayne resident has been tapped to serve on Governor Chris Christie’s presidential campaign leadership team.
Vincent Tufariello will serve on the New Jersey Finance Leadership Team, Christie’s campaign said Tuesday shortly after the governor announced he will seek the Republican nomination for the 2016 presidential election.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Tufariello has been director of Atrium Health and Senior Living for more than 20 years. He became director of the Basking Ridge-based senior living facility in 1995 following a nearly nine-year career as a certified public accountant.

Tufariello received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Seton Hall University in 1981 and a Master of Science in Taxation from Seton Hall in 1989.
