Wayne Rock And Roll Nightclub Owner Publishes Book
The former owner of Bergenfield's Circus-Circus Nightclub has published a book documenting the establishment's wildest years.

The former owner of the one of the region’s most popular rock and roll nightclubs has enshrined the characters and music of the time in a new book.
NorthJersey.com reports on Rick Bandazian’s story:
When I tell people I’ve never met before I used to own a rock club called Circus-Circus, so many of them say, ‘I was at your club all the time,’ and we start sharing stories. It happens all the time. I wanted to give the bands and fans and everyone involved at the time a much deserved moment in the sun again.”

“Rock and Roll Meltdown” is a thoroughly entertaining and informative read told through Bandazian’s narrative and interviews with band members, fans, bartenders, security guards and others who were ensconced in the scene. Bandazian conducted most of the interviews, with contributions from Ramsey resident Dan Lorenzo.
There will be a book signing and panel discussion featuring former Circus musicians on Sunday at 1 p.m. in Bookends in Ridgewood.
