Snow Days Won't Prevent Wayne Schools From Getting Presidents Day Off

WAYNE, NJ — Wayne has seen a lot of snow this winter but not enough to put the kids in school on Presidents Day, the district announced.
Wayne Township Public Schools planned for an off day Feb. 21. But if the district needed to use more than two emergency days by Feb. 1, schools would have been open for a full day on Presidents Day.
But Wayne schools have used only two emergency days so far. Now that it's February, the district confirmed Tuesday that the district will have the holiday off.
