Wayne Temple Invites People To Enroll In 'Moms And Tots And Torah' Programs

Temple Beth Tikvah at 950 Preakness Avenue, Wayne, invites members and non-members alike to enroll in its Moms and Tots and Torah Tots programs.

Moms and Tots is a music and movement class for children between the ages of nine months to three years that will meet every Thursday morning on-site from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. beginning September 11, 2014. The program is free for members of Temple Beth Tikvah, and non-members may register for just $54 for the school year. In the Moms and Tots program at Temple Beth Tikvah, the tots will engage in activities with scarves, beanbags, instruments and many more developmental tools. As a result, they will enhance their eye/hand coordination, gross and fine motor skills, listening skills and social skills through a fun experience.

Additionally, Temple Beth Tikvah provides a Torah Tots class for children in pre-kindergarten to kindergarten, ages four to six years. The Torah Tots class introduces children to Jewish holidays using stories, songs and crafts. Hebrew letters are learned through the use of games and art. They are engaged in role-playing for bible tales along with puppet play, masks and discussions. Early exposure to Judaism has proven to connect children to their Jewish identity. The class meets every Monday from 4:10 to 6:00 p.m. beginning September 15, 2014. The Torah Tots program is free for members of Temple Beth Tikvah, and non-members may register for a fee of just $54 for the school year.
