Wayne Township Offering Free COVID-19 Testing

COVID-19 testing will be available to Wayne Township residents for the entire month of October.

WAYNE, NJ — If you're interested in getting tested for COVID-19, you may be able to get one free of charge in Wayne Township.

According to Mayor Christopher P. Vergano, free COVID-19 testing is currently available during the entire month of October.

All Wayne Township residents, Wayne Board of Education employees and Wayne Township employees are eligible to be tested.

Anyone who takes advantage of the free testing must be 18 years or older and bring with them to the testing location a valid driver’s license and/or valid government identification.

If you are symptomatic, you are advised to contact your physician and avoid signing up for a free test through the township.

Testing will take place at the Wayne Health Department, which is located at 475 Valley Rd. in Wayne.
