Wayne Valley Alumnus Receives Acquaviva Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship is given in memory of Wayne 9/11 victim Paul Acquaviva.

Andrew Keane, a senior at Wayne Valley High School, received the Paul Acquaviva Scholar-Athlete Memorial Award on Tuesday, NorthJersey.com reported.

Acquaviva, a Wayne Valley High School alumnus, was killed in terrorist attack on the World Trade Center on 9/11. He lived in Glen Rock. He was inducted into the National Honor Society, played varsity basketball, and hosted a high school television show “Rock ‘n’ Roll TV.”

He was a graduate of Columbia Law School.

Keane was captain of the Indian’s basketball and soccer teams, has a 4.0 grade-point average, and plans to major in civil engineering at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in Manhattan, the website reported.
