Wayne Valley Alumnus Wins Junior College World Series

Andrew Furber pitched and won the championship game for his collegiate baseball team in the NCAA Division III Junior College World Series recently.

Furber and DePaul alumnus George Monsen helped Gloucester County College defeat Century College, the number two-ranked team in the country, in Texas.

"Andrew was outstanding all year long. There was no doubt that we were going to have him throw in the championship game," said coach Mike Dickson.
