Wayne Valley Cheerleaders Donate To Hackensack Medical Center
Through the organization Tackle Kids Cancer, the competition cheer team collected new gifts for patients this holiday season.

WAYNE, NJ — This holiday season is different for many families in New Jersey.
The coronavirus has altered plans, health and income levels for many in the state, but there does seem to be something positive coming from the pandemic: giving.
There have been a litany of holiday initiatives aimed at paying it forward in 2020, and a group of Wayne Valley cheerleaders are among them.

Wayne Valley cheerleaders haven't been the only athletes to make an impact through Tackle Kids Cancer this year, as members of the New York Red Bulls to design posters with patients at the hospital.
According to Tackle Kids Cancer, over the last several years, patients at the hospital would help design custom cleats for players. This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, that plan was altered, with patients and players teaming up to design posters.
