Wayne Valley Marching Band Completes Historic Season

Band earned seven consecutive first-place finishes and received 32 awards.

The Wayne Valley High School marching band has completed one of its most successful runs in the past decade.

The band placed fourth out of 19 competitors at the national championship in Delaware recently, posting a 95.563 score, its highest score earned in the past 10 years.

The band won first place seven consecutive first-place finishes and 32 awards in nine competitions this season, including: Best music, best color guard, best visual, and best overall effect.
