Wayne Valley's Jordan Montero Named Male Student-Athlete Of The Year: Report

WAYNE, NJ — Wayne Valley's Jordan Montero was named the Passaic County Coaches Association's Male Student-Athlete of the Year, NorthJersey.com reported.

Montero was named first-team All-County as a senior and All-League twice. He played all three phases of the game extremely well. He had three interceptions as a defensive back, 54 catches as a wide receiver and 37 points as a place kicker.

Montero helped the Indians nearly defeat their crosstown rivals Wayne Hills in the North 1, Group 4 group final, but lost in overtime.

He was also named All-County in track three times and owns the school record in the javelin, the report said.
