Wayne Woman Caught With 100 Bags Of Heroin: Police
Police stopped the vehicle Michele L. Moran was driving because it had a cracked windshield, authorities said.

A Wayne woman had more than 100 bags of heroin on her that police found after they stopped her car on Route 23 Friday, police said.
Officer Chris Carbone stopped a Toyota 4 Runner on Route 23 North near Alps Road at 2:25 p.m. because it had a cracked windshield, Capt. Laurence Martin said.
Detectives Ken Hart and Jason Goller, who assisted Carbone, recognized the driver, Michele L. Moran, 43 of Wayne, from a prior investigation, police said.

Authorities found 100 glassine bags of suspected heroin stamped “Ducati” and a plastic bottle containing suspected marijuana in her possession, Martin said.
Moran was charged with possession of heroin, distribution of heroin, and possession of marijuana. She also had a $500 warrant out for her arrest in West Milford, police said.

She was released on the Wayne charges and turned over to West Milford police on the warrant.
