Wayne Woman, GOP Champion Dead At 63

WAYNE, NJ — A Wayne woman who was a stalwart for New Jersey Republicans has died at the age of 63.

Susan Enderly died on Monday surrounded by family, according to her obituary. Her cause of death is unclear.

Enderly was a former Republican State Committeewoman from Passaic County. She served in the position from 2017 to 2025. She was also named Republican Woman of the Year by the New Jersey Federation of Republican Women in 2017.

Enderly also served as the Wayne Republican municipal vice chair and won a statewide at-large delegate seat to the 2020 Republican National Convention pledged to Donald Trump, according to the New Jersey Globe.

In addition to her work with the state, she worked as the Activities Coordinator at Brightview in Wayne. She was also involved with the Wayne Board of Adjustment, the Wayne Historical Society, the Morris County Women's Republican organization, Wayne PAL, and the United Methodist Church in Wayne.

"Susan was truly one of a kind and will be remembered for her generous heart, boundless energy, quick wit, creative spirit, and extraordinary ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued," her obituary reads. "Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and, in the family, she loved so deeply."

Visitation will be held on Friday at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home in Wayne from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held there at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
