Wayne Woman Opening Salon In Town

The salon will open in a few weeks next to the soon-to-be Whole Foods Market on Valley Road.

WAYNE, NJ — A new high-end salon will open in town in a few weeks.

Linsey Barbuto-Nunez will open Perlei Salon in the Valley Ridge Shopping Center at 578 Valley Road next to the soon-to-be Whole Foods and across from Wayne Valley High School. (See related: Whole Foods Opening In Wayne)

"I always said, 'I'm going to own a hair salon in that shopping center' and now I am," Barbuto-Nunez said with pride.

Barbuto-Nunez said she loves making people feel beautiful about themselves and making them feel happy. She's in love with hair coloring. She is a graduate of the Aveda Institute in New York City. She is a certified keratin specialist and master colorist.

"That's my art and it's something I've grown into. I love it," she said.

More than anything, Barbuto-Nunez wants clients to feel at home at her full-service salon.

"I'm a people person. I like talking to my clients and getting to know them," she said. "I want it to be a place where women can escape to and walk in and feel like they are in someone's house."

"We're all really excited about it," Barbuto-Nunez's sister Stephanie Barbuto-Sidler said.

Perlei Salon will be at 578 Valley Road. It will be open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Fridays, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, and alternating Mondays and Sundays. Check back with Patch for more information about Perlei Salon when it opens.
