A Wayne woman who was hit by a minibus driven by a Paterson employee will receive $20,000 as part of a lawsuit settlement with the city.

Vijayalak Raman was driving on Alps Road in Wayne in August 2011 when Carlos Sotomayes, a Paterson employee with the department of Health and Human Services, hit her with the minibus, NorthJersey.com reported.

Sotomayes drives a minibus that brings senior citizens and people with disabilities to doctors’ appointments and other destinations, the website reported. Passaic County owns the minibuses.
