WAYNE, NJ — Polls for Wayne's Primary Election have closed, and results are beginning to stream in.
This year's primary election is set to be a consequential one in Wayne, with the two Democrats vying for the nomination to run for council.
Jim Freeswick, a retired attorney, and Dennis Marnick Jr., a realtor, are seeking the chance to become the only Democrat on Wayne's Council.

- Dennis Marnick Jr.: 153 votes (68.6 percent)
