Wide receiver expected to be a big touchdown weapon for the Scarlet Knights. Hayek also reportedly had offers from Army and Robert Morris.

WAYNE, N.J. — Wayne Hills' star wide receiver Tyler Hayek committed to attending Rutgers University in the fall of 2017.
"Ultimately, I just asked myself why not?" Hayek told 247sports.com. "It's big ten football, it's close to home, and I love the coaching staff. There was no reason not to commit now."
Hayek also announced the move on Twitter. He told Scarlet Knights head coach Chris Ash about his decision at Rutgers' 7-on-7 passing camp this weekend, according to 247sports.com.
