CandyStore.com, an online candy wholesaler, recently tracked eight years of sales data to determine the best-selling Halloween candy by state, in pounds sold.
Tootsie Pops are New Jersey's favorite Halloween candy. More than 164,000 pounds of the sweet treats on a stick are sold annually in the Garden State.

Skittles are the second-most popular candy with slightly less than 155,000 pounds sold a year.
M&M's came in third with 82,000 pounds sold.

Tootsie Pops were also the most popular candy sold in Kentucky and Tennessee, according to the data.
The website published an interactive map showing the top-selling candy in all 50 states.
