Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Western Passaic County Until 11 A.M.
Freezing rain is expected to add one-tenth of an inch of ice accumulation. Use caution while driving.

The National Weather Service has released a winter weather advisory for western Passaic County, citing freezing rain that will make for icy conditions.
According to the NWS, the freezing rain can potentially add a tenth of an inch of additional ice accumulation, making walking and driving hazardous.
“A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties,” said the alert. “Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.”
