WPU President Kathleen Waldron said Debt is a 'Real Burden' for Her Students

Average William Paterson student graduates with $27K of debt.

That is what University President Kathleen Waldron said in a recent interview on “NJ Today”.

Although the university has kept its annual tuition increases to about 1.9 percent each of the last three years, Waldron recognizes the fact that it is becoming more difficult for students to be able to attend the university.

A special hearing regarding tuition and fees for the 2015-16 school year will be held at the university’s Cheng Library Thursday from noon to 1:30 p.m.
