WWII Nazi Spy From Glen Rock Subject Of Library Talk
Police Detective and historian James Calaski will talk about Carl Schiphorst, a Nazi spy.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — A borough police detective will give a talk Tuesday about a World War II Nazi spy from Glen Rock.
Detective, and historian, James Calaski, will talk about Carl Schiphorst, the leader of the Bergen County unit of the German American Bund, a United States Nazi organization in the 1930s and 1940s.
The talk will be at the Worth-Pinkham Memorial Library in Ho-Ho-Kus in the adult room from 7 to 8 p.m. The library is at 91 Warren Ave.

Calaski will also talk about World War II espionage and the investigation, internment and deportation of German Americans during World War II. There will be time for questions about the talk.
