WEST WINDSOR, NJ — Summer vacation is ending for West Windsor-Plainsboro students, who return Wednesday for the start of the 2026-27 school year.
The opening stretch will be brief. Students attend Wednesday through Friday before schools close Monday for Labor Day, according to the district calendar.
Families can begin planning for back-to-school nights. The district says every session will be held in person, with dates beginning Wednesday for select preschool programs and continuing later this month for both high schools. "Please mark your calendar," officials said, adding that times and additional information will arrive closer to each event.
Families may want to double-check transportation arrangements, schedules and opening-day instructions before students leave home.
