WEST WINDSOR, NJ — If Italian food, live music and carnival rides sound like a good way to spend the weekend, a three-day festival gets underway Friday in West Windsor.

The celebration continues Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m., giving residents three days to stop by.

General admission is $10 per person, while children under 12 are admitted free.

The festival celebrates Italian heritage, family traditions and community spirit, according to the MCIAF organizers. Visitors can expect Italian food, live music and entertainment throughout the weekend. Carnival rides, games and activities are also planned, along with vendors offering goods, crafts and specialty items.

The event organizers describe the weekend as a chance to "celebrate our heritage, honor our traditions, and create new memories together."

Food offerings are expected to range from classic favorites to desserts, while cultural programming is also scheduled as part of the weekend.

More information about the festival is available through the Mercer County Italian American Festival's official website.
