WEST WINDSOR, NJ — West Windsor Township announced Tuesday that it has received an AAA bond rating from S&P Global Ratings, highlighting its financial standing.
In a township announcement, officials attributed the top-tier rating to strong fiscal management, economic health and responsible governance.
The township said the rating reflects the work of its administration and municipal employees.
Officials also said the rating could help the township secure the lowest possible interest rates when borrowing for future infrastructure improvements.
According to the announcement, that borrowing advantage could save taxpayers money.
The township described the rating as a reflection of its financial stability and commitment to responsible management.
