Here's How Many Tickets Were Issued In Mercer County In 2017

Watch your speed when you hit New Jersey's highways. New Jersey State Police recently released data concerning how many tickets were issued last year, broken down by county. How many were there in Mercer County?
In 2017, Mercer County police officers issued 7,097 tickets, the 10th highest of all the New Jersey counties, according to New Jersey State Police data reported by nj.com. It was an increase from 2016, when 6,838 tickets were issued, and was also the most summonses issued in the past five years.
Nearby Middlesex County ranked the highest in the state, issuing 13,841 summonses to drivers. Sussex County ranked the lowest, with just 1,373 tickets in 2017.
