New Brunswick Man Arrested With Stolen Car In West Windsor: Cops
Jose L. Rodriguez was arrested while driving a stolen car that had been involved in a hit-and-run incident in North Brunswick, police said.
WEST WINDSOR, NJ — A New Brunswick man was arrested after he was stopped while driving a stolen car in West Windsor, police said.
Jose. L. Rodriguez, 22, was stopped by West Windsor police who were alerted that a car that had been stolen out of New Brunswick was seen driving on Route 1 south toward West Windsor on Friday afternoon, Aug. 10, police said on Sunday.
The car had been involved in a hit-and-run incident in North Brunswick, police said. Police stopped the 2001 Honda Civic near the Windsor Greens Shopping Center. Rodriguez complied with the officers’ orders, and was arrested without incident.

Rodriguez was processed at police headquarters and was charged with receiving stolen property. He was also issued numerous motor vehicle summonses, including being a suspended driver. Rodriguez was released pending a future date at the Mercer County Superior Court.
