Police Investigate Luring Incident In West Windsor

A man approached a 12-year-old girl while she waited at a bus stop last week, police said.

WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — Police are investigating an incident in which an unknown man approached a 12-year-old girl in West Windsor.

At about 6:55 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, a man driving what may have been a 2000-2002 Acura TL in the Mews Apartment Complex stopped to ask the girl if he could give her a ride and “drop her off” as she waited for her school bus, West Windsor police said Tuesday evening.

After the girl said no, he drove off, police said. The man is described as a white man in his 50s with white hair and light skin with reddening or rashes. He had no facial hair or glasses. During the investigation, West Windsor police have been in constant contact with West Windsor-Plainsboro School District Superintendent Dr. David Aderhold’s office.
