Union County Fugitive Captured In West Windsor: Police

Henry L. Stevenson, 50 of Piscataway, was arrested while attempting to steal a bike at Princeton Junction Train Station over the weekend.

WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — A fugitive from Union County was arrested while trying to steal a bicycle in West Windsor over the weekend, police announced.

Henry L. Stevenson, 50 of Piscataway, was arrested after he was seen cutting a lock in an attempt to steal a bicycle at the Princeton Junction Train Station just after 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, according to West Windsor police.

Stevenson was arrested for stealing a $150 Stowaway bike, police said. After learning that he was a fugitive, police processed Stevenson and turned him over to the Union County Sheriff’s Office. Police didn’t say what Stevenson was previously wanted for.

Stevenson also had a silver MGX Redondo 21 Speed, which remains in police custody.
