Walk To Fight Kidney Disease In West Windsor This Weekend

WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — West Windsor residents are taking up the fight against kidney disease. Fresenius Medical Care North America will host the National Kidney Foundation West Windsor Township Kidney Walk this weekend.

Dozens of employees and hundreds of other participants will participate in the walk in an effort to fight kidney disease on Sunday, May 20, 10 a.m. at Mercer County Park. The park is located at 1638 Old Trenton Road.

More than 73 million people are at risk for kidney disease and most don’t even know it, the company said. The Kidney Walk is the nation's largest walk to fight kidney disease.

More than 80 cents of every dollar raised directly supports National Kidney Foundation programs and services for kidney patients, their families, and those at risk. The goal is to raise $750,000 toward research for kidney disease.
