Water Main Replacement Project Alexander Rd, West Windsor

On or about Monday, April 13,2020, Schilke Construction Co. Inc., a contractor working for NJ American Water, will begin a water main replacement project along Alexander Rd / Wallace Rd, between Princeton-Hightstown Rd and Wallace Rd. During this time this section of Alexander will be closed to through traffic. The posted detour route will utilize Wallace Road, Princeton-Hightstown Road, Clarksville Road and North Post Road. Intermittent closures of intersections with Berrien, Scott and Harris are to be expected as work progresses. Traffic control will be coordinated through Schilke Construction Inc. and the West Windsor Police Department. Working hours will be Mon-Fri, 7am-4pm, during this time.

Resident property access will be maintained including all essential services (police, fire, emergency, mail, and waste pick up). Full access will be restored after hours and on weekends. The project is expected to take 10 weeks once started, weather permitting. Again, New Jersey American Water thanks you for your patience and understanding as they work to improve the water infrastructure along Alexander Road.
