West Windsor Environmental Commission to Discuss Solar Program Thursday

Commission to review grant application, watershed plans and Sustainable Jersey Energy Program at 7 p.m. Zoom meeting.

WEST WINDSOR, NJ - The West Windsor Township Environmental Commission will hold its regular monthly meeting Thursday to discuss a community solar update and a pending grant application, among other items.

Commissioners will receive an update on the township's community solar program, which aims to expand access to solar energy for residents who cannot install rooftop panels.

The commission will also review an application to the Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions for grant funding, the purpose of which has not been disclosed in advance agenda materials.

Additional agenda items include updates on the Sustainable Jersey Energy Program, watershed assessment plans, and reports from the Planning Board and Township Council.
