Arrested: Stuart A. Novick, White male, 62 years old
Resident of Cranbury, NJ 08512
OFFICER: Ptl. B. Caulfield #5107
DETAILS: Ptl. Caulfield was detailed to the 1200 block of Old Trenton Rd. for a hit and run crash. Prior to arriving at that scene, he located a beige Nissan sedan with heavy front and rear damage that crashed into a utility pole in front of 1400 Old Trenton Rd. During the investigation, it was determined that this vehicle had left the scene of the hit and run crash that Ptl. Caulfield had originally been dispatched to. The driver, Stuart Novick, was found to be in possession of a plastic baggie containing crack cocaine and a small digital scale that was tucked into his sock. Novick was also determined to be DWI. He was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at Mercer County Superior Court.

DETAILS: Patrol units were detailed to the Home Depot for a shoplifting. During the investigation it was determined that Larry Baker had several warrants for his arrest and was found to be a fugitive who was “Wanted” by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office. He was taken into custody and transported to the Mercer County Corrections Center.

Accused: Doni N. Simmers, White female, 35 years old
Resident of New Hope PA 18938
DETAILS: Patrol units were detailed to the Target store for a shoplifting involving suspects who had walked out of the store with a cart full of stolen merchandise. Investigation determined that Doni Simmers entered the store with a male companion. Simmers first selected a pair of headphones which she concealed into her backpack. She then proceeded to select more merchandise and placed the items into her shopping cart. She later took the items in her cart and put them all into reusable shopping bags she had brought with her. She left the store without paying and was located by Patrol at the bus stop behind Walmart. Simmers was determined to have multiple warrants for her arrest from Lawrence, Ewing, and Trenton. She was released from the scene pending future Court dates in those jurisdictions. Over $500 worth of property was returned to the store. At WWPD Headquarters, a Complaint was issued and mailed to Simmers for Shoplifting.

Accused: Jacob Rivedal, White male, 31 years old
Resident of Philadelphia, PA 19134
DETAILS: Ptl. Pollini was detailed to the Wegmans for a shoplifting. Investigation determined that while Jacob Riverdal was pushing a baby stroller with his one year old daughter in it, he selected $526.40 worth of liquor and concealed the bottles under his stroller. He then went to the self-checkout, paid for a small item and attempted to leave the store. Ptl. Fiore who was working security at the store, detained Rivedal. Rivedal was identified and released from the scene. At WWPD Headquarters, a Complaint was issued and mailed to Rivedal for Shoplifting.

LOCATION OCCURRED: Clarion Hotel, 3499 U.S. Route 1

Accused: Richard Pullman, White male, 35 years old
Resident of Bridgewater, NJ 08807
REPORTING OFFICER: Ptl. G De Blasio #5111
DETAILS: Patrol units responded to the Clarion Hotel for a loud disturbance coming from a room. Patrol officers arrived at the room to find a hole in the entry door. They found the room unoccupied but in complete disarray. Inside, there were several holes in the walls, damaged furniture and fixtures, broken bottles and beer cans all around, and a sink clogged with food. Officers located Richard Pullman nearby. Pullman was intoxicated and determined to be the room guest. Hotel management estimated the cost of the damage to be $3,000.00. Pullman was charged with Criminal Mischief and has a date pending in Mercer County Superior Court. He was given his copy of the complaint and escorted out of the hotel.

DETAILS: Patrol units responded to the Target store for a shoplifting in progress. Ptl. Hojnacki arrived on scene as Patrick Ludeke was pushing a cart containing two vacuum cleaners and other merchandise (valued at $1,058.88) out of the entrance without paying for any of the items. After Ludeke was properly identified, he was released from the scene. At WWPD Headquarters, a complaint charging Ludeke with Shoplifting was issued and mailed to him. Ludeke has a future date pending at Mercer County Superior Court.

DETAILS: Ptl. Van Ness investigated a burglary to a motor vehicle parked overnight at the Extended Stay. Investigation determined that unknown actor(s) smashed the back driver’s side window of a Chevrolet pickup truck and stole some items that were inside.

DETAILS: Ptl. Knox investigated a burglary to a parked vehicle while the owner was at work in the Whole Foods Market. Investigation determined that unknown actor(s) smashed the passenger side front window of a Nissan sedan and stole approximately $5.00 of loose change that was in the center console.
