West Windsor Police Investigate Overnight Burglaries
The burglaries took place overnight Thursday into Friday in the area of Cliffview Court.
WEST WINDSOR, NJ - West Windsor police are investigating several burglaries that took place overnight Thursday into Friday in the area of Cliffview Court. The burglars used an unlocked slider to break into the homes, police said.
“I am sending this alert to let you know that we continue to make these burglaries one of our highest priorities,” West Windsor Police Chief Robert Garofalo said in a Nixle alert Friday evening. “Patrols and detectives randomly patrol developments and look for suspicious activity. Our detective bureau is working each day to look for patterns and is working with other agencies to come up with common denominators.”
Police told residents not to panic, but that they should make sure their homes are locked at night.

“Best practices tell us to please make sure you lock windows and doors and use your alarm system,” Garofalo said. “Keep exterior lights on. If you hear something unusual don't hesitate to call 911. Your safety is of utmost importance. Cameras are also great especially when they record movement.Please report anything you think is suspicious and record license plates of vehicles if you are unsure. Never hesitate to contact 911 for anything you feel is unusual.”
