West Windsor Roundabout Closure Will Throw Drivers For A Loop

All approaches to a busy West Windsor roundabout will close overnight for emergency road repairs.

WEST WINDSOR, NJ — Drivers will need another way around when a busy West Windsor roundabout closes for emergency repairs.

Earle Asphalt will repair the roundabout at North Post and Alexander roads from 7 p.m. Friday, September 18, through 6 a.m. Saturday, according to the township.

All roads leading to the roundabout will close and traffic will be detoured during the overnight work. The closure matters for West Windsor residents because the township said the route is seeing significant traffic, particularly during the state Department of Transportation’s Clarksville Road bridge closure.

Township officials said the repairs were scheduled overnight because of the “significant amount of traffic” using the intersection.

“It is imperative that everyone follow posted signs and traffic direction,” officials said, urging drivers to help maintain safety around the work zone.
