West Windsor Seeks Volunteers For New Pollinator Garden Project
A grant was awarded to the West Windsor Environmental Commission.
WEST WINDSOR, NJ — West Windsor Township is seeking volunteers to help build and maintain a new pollinator garden at Community Park following the award of a $1,500 grant from the Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions (ANJEC).
The grant was awarded to the West Windsor Environmental Commission to support the installation of an additional pollinator garden near the Skate Park, completing a series of gardens designed to enhance pollinator habitat while serving as an educational resource for the community.
According to township officials, the gardens provide numerous benefits, including improved habitat for pollinators, healthier landscape management, enhanced recreational and aesthetic value, and increased community awareness of environmental stewardship.
