Woman Hit By Car In West Windsor; Police Seek Driver
A woman was hit by a driver in the Windsor Woods Apartment Complex Wednesday afternoon.
WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — West Windsor police are searching for a driver who struck a pedestrian in the Windsor Woods Apartment Complex Wednesday afternoon. A 39-year-old woman was hit by a car while walking near the 11000 building between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Nov. 13, police said Thursday morning.
The man checked on her welfare following the accident, and she said she didn’t need any help at that time, police said. She went back to her apartment and took a nap. When she woke up hours later, though, she said she had head pain and requested an ambulance. Police said they were first notified of this incident at 7:30 p.m.
She was taken to Capital Health at Fuld, where she was treated for head pain and swelling, police said. Her injuries were not life-threatening, according to police. West Windsor Division of Fire and Emergency Services (Station #45) took her to the hospital.

Police are looking for information that will help their traffic officers with this investigation. They believe there would have been plenty of people in the area at the time of the accident.
