The West Windsor Wildcats Tiny Mites Cheer Team, led by coaches Lauren Salvaggio and Jessica Castro, has triumphed on the global stage, securing a remarkable first-place victory at the YCADA Global Competition in their division. This incredible achievement comes after a journey marked by perseverance, dedication, and the unwavering spirit of the Wildcats.

They started the season strong with a first-place win at the Pop Warner Central NJ Competition, but faced a heartbreaking loss at Regionals missing the chance to compete at Nationals in Orlando, FL. Undeterred by setbacks, the Wildcats doubled down on their efforts, working tirelessly to rebound from the heartbreaking loss at Regionals. Their relentless dedication propelled them to claim the top spot in their division at the YCADA Global Competition, surpassing six teams from across the nation. Their resilience and commitment to excellence shone through as they dazzled judges with their precision, teamwork, and unparalleled energy.

The Wildcats' journey to victory is even more remarkable when considering the challenging circumstances, the organization faced just in August 2023. At the brink of folding, passionate parents stepped in forming a new board and led a fundraising initiative that breathed new life into the Wildcats organization. Their collective determination not only saved the organization but also set the stage for the Tiny Mites to become champions.
