RCSJ-Gloucester Students Shine at 7th Annual Commencement Ceremony

On Friday, May 15, over 400 students from RCSJ’s Class of 2026 celebrated their hard work and accomplishments at RCSJ’s Gloucester Campus during the 7^th annual commencement ceremony.

Friends, family, and fellow graduates came together to share in the excitement as approximately 1,450 diplomas & certificates were awarded this year.

Local government officials, administrators, and educators were also in attendance to support this year’s graduates and acknowledge their achievements.

Though the graduates bittersweetly closed their chapters as RCSJ students, they were more than thrilled to reflect on their memories, experiences, and aspirations for their futures.

Photo One: Daniel Barker, 21, Williamstown, Business Administration: I plan to go to Rowan University. I’m excited to explore the fields within my major. It’ll help me understand my options better and all the opportunities that come from it.

Photo Two: Ashley Ward, 19, Clayton, Communications: Being part of the golf team was the best experience. I was able to find a community within the school and spend some time outside. We’re going to play at Chautauqua on May 31 – June 6, so hopefully I place for All-American!

Mia Schauers, 19, Clayton, Computer Graphic Arts: Computer Graphic Arts was a great program. I enjoyed it thoroughly. My favorite part was the classes. I built a strong bond with a couple of people there, and I’m so grateful for that. My professor was also outstanding!

Giana DeBlock, 21, Williamstown, Computer Graphic Arts: It was really nice. In high school, I studied graphic design, and I enjoyed expanding on it. I’ve gained more knowledge from my college experience.

Photo Three: Tinu Bamgbose, 20, Williamstown, Mathematics: It was a lot of fun! I took a lot of difficult but exciting classes. My favorites were differential equations and linear algebra. My professors made the classes engaging and interesting. I plan to transfer to Rowan University and major in Data Science.

Photo Four: Tracy Marshall, 22, Washington Township, Liberal Arts, A.A.: It’s great here. It’s a great community. This place becomes a great stepping stool for your next journey. I’m excited to move on with my education, my career, and my family. Just live life to the fullest!

Photo Five: Ayelet Ayittey, 19, Wenonah, Biology: One thing I really liked was how the professors were close with students. They helped us with tutoring and got us connected to counselors and resources. After graduating, I’m most excited to study abroad in either Italy, France, or Dubai.
