GLASSBORO, NJ — New Jersey teens have been charged after a party that turned violent in 2025, the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office said.
Elijah Evans, 19, of Pine Hill, and Serenity Hall, 19, of Camden were charged and indicted with one charge of fourth-degree inciting a riot.
On June 29, 2025, Glassboro Police responded to calls along Rowan Boulevard for reports of an armed robbery, a shooting, a stolen vehicle, noise complaints, fights, burglary, and disturbances.
A pop-up event, "Summer Block Party," was advertised on social media for June 29 at 10 p.m.
The flyer also had language that encouraged disorderly and unlawful behavior towards law enforcement, authorities said.
The advertisement reached around 1,000 people and was shared by a social media account belonging to Hall.
Another account, owned by Evans, also shared the details.
Talks between the two and a juvenile showed that the group organized the event.
Evans and Hall now face a maximum sentence of 18 months in jail.
