ELK TOWNSHIP, NJ — One person is dead, and a child is in the hospital after a crash along Route 55 south at around 1 a.m. Monday, according to ABC.
The driver was going south near Wheat Road when they went off the highway and flipped in the woods.

Route 55 has been the subject of recent calls for a review of the roadway after a string of deadly collisions over the last four years.
