DEPTFORD, NJ — A 37-year-old woman was sentenced on Friday after stealing money from two South Jersey parent teacher organizations during her role as treasurer, the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office said.
Tara Webb, of Deptford, was sentenced to five years of probation and ordered to pay full restitution after she pleaded guilty as part of an agreement.
According to officials, Webb was the treasurer for both the Shady Lane and Pine Acres Early Childhood Center Parent Teacher Organizations.
During her tenure, she stole $99,378.06 from the banks of both in over a year.
Webb is banned from contacting any victims and from working in fundraising or fund management for any nonprofit during her probation.
