SALEM COUNTY, NJ — The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for Salem County on Thursday.
The alert is effective through 2:30 p.m.
A severe thunderstorm capable of creating a tornado was logged near Woodstown.
Tree damage is likely, along with impacts to roofs, vehicles, and windows, added officials.
Thousands of people are also without power in nearby areas, including Gloucester and Burlington Counties.
