MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ — A large turtle was found wandering the streets on Monday, the Monroe Township Police Department said.
He was found near Church Street and W Academy Street with no links to a potential owner.
"After a brief foot pursuit (we won), the suspect was safely taken into custody," the Department added.
The owner or anyone with information is asked to contact the Monroe Township Police Department at (856) 728-0800 or the Gloucester County Animal Shelter at (856) 881-2828.
