HARRISON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A hazmat team was called in for a tractor-trailer crash on Monday night, the Gloucester County Office of Emergency Management said.
A truck crashed into a utility pole along State Route 322 (Mullica Hill Road) at Sherwin Road and left a diesel spill in the area.
No injuries were reported. The road was shut in both directions.
Traffic temporarily resumed until crews returned later in the night to replace the pole, shutting down eastbound travel again for a period of time.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
