Hit-And-Run Driver Wanted In South Jersey, Police Say

A blue Mercury minivan is the vehicle in question.

BRIDGETON, NJ — A driver left the scene of a crash with another vehicle late Wednesday night, the Bridgeton Police Department said.

At around 11:40 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Nichols Street for a hit-and-run crash.

A blue Mercury minivan hit the back of a parked car and left the area.

According to officials, the van should have visible damage to its front.

No injuries were reported.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Bridgeton Police at (856) 451-0033.

According to the Department, information can stay anonymous through submissions on the bpd.tips site.
