SICKLERVILLE, NJ — A 43-year-old man was sentenced after stealing multiple air conditioning units and being found on the roof of a business, the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office said.
Justin Barci, of Sicklerville, was sentenced to three years in jail after he pleaded guilty as part of an agreement to one count of third-degree theft and two counts of third-degree burglary.
On three different occasions, Barci was involved in stealing property from stores in the area.
On July 5, 2024, he stole six of the units from a Turnersville Shopping Center.
On Jan. 12, 2025, officers found him after business hours on the roof of "Sony Music" in Pitman and noticed a unit was removed from one of the windows.
Barci then took copper on April 6, 2025, from the Deptford "Christmas Tree Shoppe" store, officials said.
