PAULSBORO, NJ — A barge caught fire on Sunday at the Port of Paulsboro, Gloucester County Emergency Management said.
The Gloucester County Hazmat team, county-wide Foam Task resources, Marine fire boats, the United States Coast Guard, and many local fire departments assisted with on-scene support or notifications.
In addition, fire departments from outside the county relocated crews in order to backfill staffing needs.
The fire was brought under control with no threat to the community, officials said.
It is still unclear what started the flames and if any injuries were reported.
