WEST DEPTFORD, NJ — Cat owners are being urged to keep their pets indoors for the foreseeable future after multiple shootings in the area.
Epic Vet Urgent Care said on Friday that they treated two cats from two separate houses who were shot.
One required a leg amputation and the other needed to have an eye removed. Both are recovering at home with their families.
Owners should check their cats for limping, swelling, small puncture wounds, or other changes in behavior, medical officials added.
Anyone with information about the recent shootings is asked to contact the West Deptford Police Department at (856) 845-2300.
