LOGAN TOWNSHIP, NJ — A 38-year-old man was arrested after he was found with dangerous drugs and other items around children, the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office said.
Brandin Jones, of Logan Township, was charged second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances (CDS), third-degree possession of CDS, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Wednesday, search warrants were carried out by the county's "Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics (GGN) Task Force" on Jones, his vehicle, and his home.
A razor blade, mixer, and plastic straw, all with a white, powdery residue, were confiscated along with 120 wax folds with suspected heroin.
The drugs were in a spot that was easily accessible to three kids who were there at the time, officials added.
Jones faces a maximum of five years for each of the third-degree offenses and 10 years for the second-degree charge.
